Living with Mental Illness can be challenging for both the individual and their loved ones. Everyone requires a unique set of supports, skills, and resources to help them achieve and maintain strong mental health. Mental illness can be living with depression or anxiety, amongst other mental health diagnosis. Even without a clinical diagnosis, overall mental health and wellness are somethings we are always working to maintain or improve. This can include things like healthy management of stress, coping with anger and other emotions, working on communication, as well as many other aspects of mental health and wellness.

Mental Health Services and Crisis Services:
Chenango County Behavioral Health Services: (607) 337-1600 located in Norwich NY, can provide individual, family, couples and group counseling for individuals who need mental health or substance abuse treatment services. Crisis services are available Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
Mobile Crisis Assessment Team (MCAT): 1-(877) 369-6699 provides 24/7 crisis services for individuals who are struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues.
CPEP at Binghamton General Hospital: (607) 762-2302 provides 24/7 crisis services for individuals who are struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues.
NY Project Hope: 1(844)-863-9314 a free confidential helpline through New York State offered 8am-10pm 7 days per week.
Crisis Text Line: Text “GOT 5” to 741741 to access a 24/7 anonymous crisis text line for support to individuals of all ages who are feeling stressed and overwhelmed.
National Suicide Prevention Hotline: 1(800) 273-8255 24/7 free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention, and crisis resources for yourself and loves ones.
Greater Binghamton Health Center- Adolescent Crisis Residence: (607) 773-4609 Provides crisis and planned respite for children and youth with a mental health diagnosis age 13-17.
Greater Binghamton Health Center- Mobile Integration Team: 1(844) 435-7648 Provides clinical intervention and support necessary for adults and children with mental health diagnoses to remain stable within the community. Services include therapeutic support, skill-building, crisis assessment and intervention, consultation, and information.

Chenango County Single Point of Access (SPOA): (607) 337-1600, provides a point of access for mental health community support services available in Chenango County for both children and adults.
Chenango County Psychosocial Club: Drop-in center located in Norwich NY for individuals 18 and older that have a mental health or substance abuse disorder.
RSS In-Home Stabilization Program: (607) 434-8692 Provides needed crisis services for anyone in the community regardless of previous mental health experience. Services are provided in an individual’s home to assist them in maintaining their independence in the community and their living environment.

On Track NY: (607) 763-2739 OnTrackNY is an innovative treatment program for adolescents and young adults who have recently had unusual thoughts and behaviors, or who have started hearing or seeing things that others do not. OnTrackNY helps people achieve their goals for school, work, and relationships. Programs are located throughout New York State.
Chenango County Peer Services: (607) 337-1600 Adult Peer services through the county that provide support and linkage to services by an individual with their own lived mental health experience.
Chenango County Transitional Services: (607) 337-1600 Peer services and case management services for individuals recently involved in the criminal justice system.
The Warm Line: 1(800) 377-3281 operational from 4:30pm-10:30pm, The Warm Line Peer provides confidential peer support and self-help to individuals in Chenango County. This is not a crisis line, and she be utilized for individuals seeking support.
